This book is about love, music and a boy band called Unrequited. Written by Emma Grey, this masterpiece is about a girl named Kat, the lead singer of her least favourite band and a boy called ‘ McDreamy’.
Kat Hartland hates Unrequited especially the lead singer Angus Marsden. There isn’t anything special about their boring lyrics and dumb-looking hair, she can’t understand why every girl is ‘in love’ with Angus. Even her younger sisters have fallen under his spell.
When she is forced to chaperone her younger sisters at an Unrequited concert she catches the eye of Angus who is enchanted by her genuine personality. Add to the a chance meeting on a train, a mystery songwriter and a celebrity out for blood and Kat has got herself in a bit of a pickle.
If you like music, romance and boys bands this is the book for you. Kat’s story is beautiful and heartbreaking. 9/10 YOU MUST READ
Awesome review! Two books/series I would highly recommend for you to review in the future are the Geek Girl series by Holly Smale and Heist Society by Ally Carter.
So glad to have found a fellow lover of Holly Smale, ONE OF MY FAVOURITE AUTHORS OF ALL TIME…
I love her newest series, the Valentines, but Harriet is still my favourite as she is so much like me.
Both of those series are available at a library near me so I will try and search them out:)
Thanks for your suggestions, keep on sending them.
